Ready for Adventure

"A pirate never leaves his crew behind!" - Kwazii Cat

Here's my 5th sketch, this time with lieutenant Kwazii! Out of all the Octonauts, he's the most adventurous guy out of the entire crew, being a daredevil and ex-pirate and all. I took some time with his left eye as it was in the shape of an American football or a leaf, as well as his ears, as I tried to get them positioned and shaped right. It's also the first sketch I've done practicing with different facial expressions - here, Kwazii looks determined, confident, and born ready to go on another exciting adventure, so I wanted his eye to reflect that. (He has a right eye, but his eyepatch covers it. Occasionally, he opens it up to look through his spyglass.) There's also a bit of body language in there, too; he looks ready to pounce on something or somebody - maybe the Captain?
